The Duke Summit on AI for Health Innovation brought #healthcare, #engineering and #industry leaders together to push forward emerging opportunities powered by #AI.

“The Pratt School of Engineering, in partnership with AI Health in the School of Medicine, held the recent Duke Summit on AI for Health Innovation. The goal of the summit was to serve as the launch pad for an effort to create an ongoing community of collaboration between engineering, medicine, and industry to tackle the greatest challenges in the healthcare space. The Duke Office of External Partnerships played a pivotal role in supporting this effort by introducing and including key industry partners that participated and enabled this effort in an incredibly meaningful way.”, said Jonathan Owens, Assoc Dir, Corporate Relations • Engineering – External Affairs, Duke University Pratt School of Engineering.

Jonathan Owens, director of business development and industry partnerships at Duke Engineering, helped put the summit together with Duke AI Health with the goal of fostering a community of practice around health-oriented AI development, that bridges the medical and engineering fields.
